Segunda Vida Equine Rescue is gaining a great group of followers and supporters just a little over two years of opening our doors to our very first Rescue horse.
Since then we have seen many horses come up our driveway and a great number leave to their forever homes. We are always happy to see the horses come, knowing that their fate of slaughter was stopped by everyone assisting that equine to their safety.
We have seen a number of big gentle giants, some very sad mistreated and starving horses, a couple of donkeys and some in need of just a safe place to spend their final days before traveling over the Rainbow Bridge.
With winter fast approaching we are in desperate need of donations of feed and hay.
We currently have an account at the Queensville Mill where donators may donate directly to the Mill. We also have a separate account with our Hay provider and people can donate directly to the Rescue or to the hay provider if preferred.
We can always use waterproof outdoor blankets as well in any and all sizes.
Please consider making a donation to the Rescue today and though it is often said that every little bit helps, it is entirely true, it does help.
